Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner Review

One make-up item which I think I need more of in my collection has to be lip liners. I have thin lips which I think lip liners make look a lot more fuller than just using a lipstick, although I still often forget to use them. So one of my latest beauty purchases has been this Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 'Eastend snob' which was only £3.99.

Firstly, the shade of this lip liner is absolutely amazing. I think it has to be one of my favourite lip products just due to the shade, if you know any lip sticks which are similar to this please let me know because I've even been wearing this on its own without a lipstick on top because I'm that obsessed with this shade. I loved the shape of the end of this lip liner because I haven't seen any like that before they're usually just pointed. Although now that I've used this product quite a few times the shape has been lost, especially because it's not one you can sharpen, but nevertheless it's still a good product.

The shade on the lips is very true to what you see in the packaging and it does have a great staying power although I find it does get quite drying over a long period of time. These Rose pink shades are my favourite at the moment now that we're into autumn, but I'm still loving the darker shades too which I'm looking forward to wearing more of in the winter months. For just £3.99 I think I'll definitely have to purchase a few more of these lip liners from their wide range of shades.

Summer Boots Haul

Getting all of your deposit back from you student house can sometimes be quite a surprise, so I thought I'd treat myself to a nice big order from Boots! Some of these things I've tried before which I've loved and some of these things I've never tried before. I'm hoping to write a lot of reviews and posts on these individually so don't forget to look out for those.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - The best smelling body scrub I've used so far. There may be a review coming soon comparing this body scrub to the one I've been using previously.

St Moriz Instant Self Tan Mousse - This seems to be the most recommended budget fake tan so I'm excited to try this one out. I bought the medium shade however I've seen most the reviews are about the 'dark' shade so I hope this one is just as good for my pale pale skin tone.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in Green with Envy - When I chose this nail polish I didn't actually know which colour I wanted exactly, just a pale colour as I'm use to usually wearing reds or blues but this mint green seems to be perfect.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara - My current favourite mascara repurchased, there is also a 2 for £10 offer on Revlon products so as this already retails at £9.99 it was like getting the color burst matte balm for just a penny.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - Every blogger's favourite budget concealer, I actually forgot this concealer existed until I realised I only have a highlighting concealer at the minute so I just had to make a repurchase of this beauty.

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Nude Eclipse - I love the apocalips lip lacquer in 'big bang' which is a bright red so I thought I'd pick up another in a colour I'm not use to, so I'll let you know how this goes too.

Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balm in Elusive - I loved this shade and that it's matte which I thought is so different to any that I already own, I'm excited to try this out so I'll let you know how I get on with this.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob - I'm yet to try out this lip liner properly but the swatch seems like a good formula so I'll let you know what I think.

Radox Berry Burst Shower Gel - I've used this shower gel before and it smells sooo good. It's like all the good smelling fruits in a sweet shower smoothie.

Fleur de Force by Eylure Fleur and Fabulous Lashes - If you know me well or have been reading my blog for a long time you should know that Fleur de Force is my all time favourite blogger and vlogger and the one that really started getting me into wanting to blog myself. When I heard she was working alongside Eylure to produce her own range of eyelashes I just knew I had to get my hands on some, I originally wanted to order the 'Fleur loves' lashes but as they were sold out I opted for the 'Fleur and Fabulous' lashes which are more suited for nights out and occasions which I think I'd be wearing them for mostly anyway.

Also with my Boots order I received a free sample of the Giorgio Armani fragrance Si. I wasn't expecting a free sample as I've never received one from them before and I'm glad I did because I would never have thought about buying or even trying this fragrance but I have to say it actually smells amazing!

Product Empties #2

This is my second product empties post and there are quite a few more products than the first post that I've managed to accumulate (despite forgetting to save some of the bottle now and again, oops) and I've also given you a quick review on how I found each of the products, so, enjoy...

Hair: Herbal Essences Ignite my Colour Shampoo - I went through a phase of trying different shampoos to see which one worked the best for me, although I did like this one I'm now back to and sticking to vo5.
Avon's Superfruit Souffle - This smells so nice and I don't think Avon stock it anymore but I have to say it was one of my favourite conditioner's ever!
Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter - I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this product. Before I purchased it I'd read mixed reviews, some saying that it made their hair knotty which I didn't think was possible until the first (and second) time of using it it did the same to me! I then gave it another try and since then it was fine and it smells good too.
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle - I love this product. I remember when it first came out a few months back and after seeing some before and after photos I knew I really needed this, I can't believe how well it works and I can't wait to use it again once I re-purchase it!

Face: Botanics All Bright Purifying Face Scrub - This is a product that although I liked at first I thought it was a bit too harsh as a face scrub compared to some others that I've been so I don't think I'd buy this again.
Origins Clear Improvement Face Mask - Although this is only a sample it lasted me quite a while and now that I've had a chance to try it I know how much I like it (just as I thought I would) and now I can allow myself to at some point pay for the full-size version.

Body: Avon Senses Winter Delight Shower Gel, Wilko Sweet Shower Smoothie and Grace Cole Eastern Spa Body Wash. As they're all shower gels/body washes there isn't too much I can say about these three except that they all smell so good although they're all different. The winter delight smells particularly amazing and it gets me in the mood for Christmas!

Other: Charlie Pink Body Spray - One of my favourite body sprays for almost ten years now, just smells amazing, I'm not surprised it's still being made!
Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara - If you want long lashes rather than volume this is a great mascara and Rimmel is a great brand to go to for mascara's too.

Have you tried or want to try any of these products?

Product Empties

This is the first time I've done a 'Product Empties' post, usually I either switch between so many products that I don't often empty many (hence my current ten body butters/lotions) or just throw the odd few that I do get away. So, for the past month or so I've managed to use up a few products and saved them until I had enough to show you.

Rimmel Match Perfection concealer - This is one of my favourite concealers, although I don't use this for blemishes as it also works as a highlighter and those aren't the areas you want to draw attention to. It is however really good under the eyes for example.

Rimmel 'Scandaleyes' mascara - This is one of the older products from my empties and I have used a couple of others since I last used this one. I wouldn't say it was my favourite mascara but I think it could be compared to the Maybelline Colossal Mascara (which I reviewed here).

I really like both of these foundations although they are quite different. The Wake Me Up Foundation looks a lot better worn in the summer because the shades are slightly darker for when you've been out in the sun, and it also has a shimmer to it which I actually like! The Match Perfect Foundation is however more of an all round good foundation, one which would probably work well for you if you are just starting to get into make-up and are looking for a good foundation too.

The Soap and Glory Sugar Crush body scrub is my absolute all time favourite body scrub! The smell is amazing and it does a really good job at leaving your skin feeling smooth.Instead of repurchasing this one however I have decided to try something a little different which if you check back here regularly, there should be a review up on my new Gadi body scrub.

These two products I have already re-purchased - I love them that much! The L'Oreal Micellar Solution I use to take off my make-up which you can find my review on here. This Vo5 shampoo is quite possibly my favourite shampoo, just lately I've been trying out a few different shampoos to see which works best for me (I'm currently using a herbal essences one) and I've decided to re-purchase this one, being my current favourite!

Let me know if you enjoy reading product empties posts because I've never posted one before.
